The cuisine of Andhra is simply amazing. The people of Andhra love their food, they have many courses of food in their daily meal. A freashly laid banana leaf with a serving of steaming rice, rich red 'Avakaya'(mango pickled in red chilli), delicious 'muddapappu' (lentil), 'kandipachhadi' (chutney of lentil), mouthwatering eggplant curry, potato fry, 'mukkala pulusu' (tamarind gravy of different vegetables), crispy papad, mango, coconut and curd chutney, tasty 'pulihora' and paravannam', delightful 'gare'(donut shaped snack), 'poornalu' (jaggary balls), 'laddo' (sweet), 'Gadda perugu'(hard set curd/yougart) with an additional serving of ghee... serving up a feast, which is mouthwatering.
